The Lexington Minutemen beat Mansfield Senior on Friday, 19-6, at Arlin Field. The win for Lex was their 1st vs Senior High since 2018, and snaps a 7 game losing streak to the TYgers.
Lexington's defense only allow 106 total yards and did not allow a point. Senior High's only score came on a fumble return as the clock was expiring in the 4th quarter.
The Minutemen had a big game from Seven Allen, who had 4 catches for 83 yards, which included a 33 yard TD catch in the 2nd quarter. Brayden Fogle had several big catches that helped lead to another Lex TD. QB Joe Caudill threw for 2 TD passes and played a nice game on defense too. Cole Eichorn led the Minutemen in tackles with 7, as Lex (3-3) won their 3rd straight game and moved to 2-0 in the OCC.
