(Hills, IA) -- Firefighters were already cleaning up one vegetation fire when they were called to another one in rural Johnson County over the weekend. The fire is believed to be started by overheated crops falling from a combine that was harvesting in the field. Nine different agencies responded to the scene due to the size of the blaze, which they say burned over 75 acres of harvested and unharvested land. The fire took over two hours to put out.

In a Facebook post, the Hills Fire Department urged the public to watch from a distance.

"We also ask from the public if you see an emergency scene in the future that you watch from a distance away," the post reads. "We are happy to have you watch us do our job, but today multiple bystanders and cars were blocking the roadway and made it hard for us to do our jobs!"

The fire is believed to be an accident.
