We’ll talk to Florida house District 33 candidates today with Vernon Anderson joining us at 7:25 and Monique Miller closing out our Friday at 8:25.
Around those interviews we’ll talk about leadership and persecution. On the persecution front, the current administration isn’t only going after Donald Trump. Tulsi Gabbard is in the target zone, as are the rest of us. The glimmer of hope is, often when these issues get to court the courts are landing firmly on the constitution.
On the leadership front, Governor DeSantis was ready to deploy State and National Guard to keep the ports open during the longshoremen’s strike. It became unnecessary as the union has agreed to return with a compromise contract in negotiation.
The governor has also issued an executive order regarding hurricane impacted areas and conducting the election. We talk with Brevard Supervisor of Elections Tim Bobanic this weekend on the Florida Roundtable about those contingency plans.
It’s a busy Friday on BML. Let’s get to it!
