Trump Returns To Butler PA, Site Of The First Assassination Attempt

Today was the big day for former President Donald Trump who returned to Butler, Pennsylvania where he was inches away from death back in mid-July.

Butler was the site of the first assassination attempt on Trump's life back on July 13th. With lots more people on hand this time, the massive rally was back at the Butler Farm Show fairgrounds in a suburb north of Pittsburgh.

"Exactly 12 weeks ago this evening on this very ground, a cold blooded assassin aimed to silence me, and to silence the greatest movement in the history of our country, MAGA" Trump said to the massive crowd, "But by the hand of providence and the grace of God, that villain did not succeed in his goal."

Trump made the promise soon after the assassination attempt that he would come back to Butler and hold another rally. Corey Comperatore, a fighter who was fatally shot in the rally shooting while shielding his family, was honored during Saturday's rally. Trump also remembered the fallen firefighter during the RNC Convention this summer.

Trump's running mate JD Vance fired up the crowd with a speech calling out the Democrats, and for the first time appearing at a Trump rally was SpaceX and Tesla founder Elon Musk.

Musk announced his full endorsement of Trump in the race for the White House earlier this year and has since made numerous posts to X campaigning for Trump and encouraging people to get out and vote in the November election.
