Texas moved up to No. 1 overall in the Associated Press Week 7 Top 25 College Football Poll following previously top-ranked Alabama's historic upset road loss to Vanderbilt Saturday (October 5) night.

The Longhorns, who were on a bye week, remain undefeated heading into their rivalry game against Oklahoma, who was also idle in Week 6, on Saturday (October 12).
