In Cobb County, Georgia, voters are checking out the actions of their Sheriff with a raised eyebrow. Body cam footage appears to show Sheriff Craig Owens calling for backup from three Deputies, reportedly, because his Burger King order was wrong, and he needed to find out the name of the owner so he could file a formal complaint. When Deputies went to the door to go inside it was locked, and some have called it a form of intimidation and a “waste of resources.” The video is said to be from May of 2023 and was shared online by Owens’ opponent in the upcoming election. Owens has apologized for the incident and vowed to do better, and one voter justifiably asked if she was allowed to call the cops if a restaurant forgot to put ketchup on her burger. Incidentally, the order that Owens placed that was wrong was for a “Whopper, no mayo, cut in half.”
