Doug Gottlieb and his Green Bay Phoenix opened the season against the Oklahoma State Cowboys last night and acquitted themselves well in a tough loss as Doug celebrated something of a homecoming, returning to Stillwater, OK where he played his own college ball. It was an amazing night, one which Doug won’t soon forget, and he reminds everyone that he isn’t doing this for the clicks. Doug and his squad are proving that this is a serious endeavor, not some sort of clown show.
Doug Gottlieb: “You can’t prove people wrong by anything you say, but you can prove people wrong based upon things that you do and how you play... It’s not a clown show. We’re not doing it just for the clicks. As a matter of fact, the clicks have nothing to do with it.”
