The San Francisco 49ers (5-4) defeated the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (4-6) 23-20 on Sunday afternoon at Raymond James Stadium. The Buccaneers have now lost four consecutive games.
A back-and-forth game throughout, the game went to halftime with San Francisco leading Tampa Bay 10-3. The Buccaneers took a 17-13 lead early in the fourth quarter on a 12-yard touchdown run, before Brock Purdy hit George Kittle for an 11-yard touchdown to take a 20-17 lead.
The Buccaneers drove the ball down the field late in the fourth, but settled for a 26-yard field-goal from Chase McLuaghlin to tie the game 20-20. The 49ers then drove down on their own, hitting the game-winning 44-yard field goal as time expired to get the win.
The Buccaneers now go into their bye week and are next in action when they travel to the New York Giants on November 24.
