Lend a Helping Can raises money for 12 New England charitable agencies to feed the Needy and Homeless.

 

Polk County Community Resource Fair Takes Place Wednesday

(Polk County, IA) -- Polk County is hosting a free Community Resource Fair tomorrow to help residents get easy access to essential services.

The event takes place from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Full Circle Recovery Center in Des Moines located at 1750 49th Street, where local organizations will be available to provide assistance with getting Iowa ID's, applying for food or housing assistance, setting up bank accounts and more.

Attendees are asked to bring proof of identification, proof of address, or an energy bill to make the most of the available resources.
