Michigan State University announced Wednesday that a $4 million grant they received will be used to help further dementia and Alzheimer's research. The grant was awarded to the school's department of psychiatry and the Colleges of Osteopathic Medicine by the National Institutes of Health.
According to MSU, 7% of older people live with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementia, and that figure grows as people age.
