Florida Gas Prices Rise To $3.12 Per Gallon, Miami Matches State Average

FLORIDA - Gas prices in Florida continued to climb this week, reaching an average of $3.12 per gallon on Monday.

According to AAA, Miami-area drivers are paying the same average price, reflecting a slight increase of 3 cents from last month but a penny less than the same time last year.

South Florida Gas Prices:

  • Miami-Dade: $3.12 per gallon, up 3.8 cents from last week, with prices ranging from $2.63 to $4.49 at local stations, according to GasBuddy.
  • Fort Lauderdale: $3.15, up 4 cents from the previous week.
  • West Palm Beach/Boca Raton: $3.27, a modest 1-cent increase.


North Florida continues to offer the lowest prices in the state, with areas like Panama City and Pensacola averaging $2.75 per gallon—about 25 to 30 cents cheaper than South Florida.

On the other hand, Naples and Palm Beach County rank among the priciest regions, with averages of $3.19 and $3.27, respectively.

Gas Prices Around Florida:

  • Orlando: $3.14
  • Tampa/St. Petersburg: $3.17
  • Tallahassee: $3.03
  • Fort Myers: $3.13


National Comparison:

The national average price for a gallon of gas on Nov. 18 was $3.07, reflecting a slight 1-cent decrease from the previous week, according to AAA.

Commuters and travelers across Florida should expect fluctuations in gas prices depending on the region, with North Florida maintaining its reputation as the state’s most affordable area for filling up.
