The WOR Moring Show talked with Joe Borelli, Minority Leader of NY City Council, and Representative of New York's 51st council district, about the three New Yorkers murdered by a suspect who has numerous arrests and is free because of the no bail, no jail law.
Borelli said, "We're not going to be able to change the no bail, no jail, laws until there's a seismic shift in politics in New York State. The good news is we've seen that start to happen. The last two elections have seen the Republican share of votes increase. We saw Republican Lee Zeldin get 47% of the vote in his loss against Hochul in the last governor's race. The people in Albany do not care about public safety, they care about the people being criminally accused. Criminals are the Democrat's priority, not the citizens."
