Time For The 76ers To Trade Joel Embiid

Rob Parker: "Enough already with Joel Embiid in Philadelphia. It might just be time. You haven't gotten to the Conference Finals with him. It's not like he's taken you to the Finals 3 years in a row. He's a fine, tremendous player. But I think he's worn out his welcome in Philadelphia. For the players to bring up stuff like him being late tells you that it irked them and bothered them, especially when this guy hasn't always produced in the postseason. I would absolutely explore trading him. It doesn't mean that he's a bum or he can't play, he's wore out his welcome. I would give him a fat cheesesteak with extra cheese, and say 'don't let the door hit you on the way out!'"
Kelvin Washington: "Talent allows you to get away with a lot. But what you can't do - you can't already be missing games. You can't already be missing back-to-backs. You can't already be someone that's injured and only playing 48% of their games. You also can't be someone who hasn't won a ring or hasn't gone to the NBA Finals. If Joel Embiid were LeBron... if LeBron late every now and again, they ain't arguing. If Steph Curry is late every now and then, the team ain't arguing."

Rob Parker and Kelvin Washington react to a report of issues with Joel Embiid in the 76ers locker room. The guys break down why it is time for Philadelphia to move on from their star player to give both he and the franchise a much-needed new start.
