Search teams are out today looking for a Grand Rapids teen that's been missing since October.
The search area will be just south of Rockford, west of Wolverine Boulevard between 10 Mile Road and Kroes Street, so don't be alarmed if you see members of the Grand Rapids Police Department and Kent County Sheriff’s Office teams at work as they look for 16-year-old Cortez McConer Jr.
Police say he was last seen the McDonald’s on E. Division Street near Wolverine Boulevard in Rockford on Oct. 26 when he and two friends took off from police. They say now he may be in hiding because he thinks he's in trouble, but the GRPD say their only concern is bringing him home safe.
His family says a $4,000 reward is being offered for information in the case. Anyone with information can call GRPD at 616.456.3380 or Silent Observer at 616.456.3380.
