Des Moines Police are investigating the city's 15th homicide of 2024.
Police responded to an apartment at 513 Forest Avenue in the River Bend neighborhood on Thursday night just before 8:30.
There, they found a 65-year-old man dead inside. Evidence of traumatic injuries were observed.
No other details have been released.
