Calling Saquon the MVP is Being a Prisoner of the Moment

Rob Parker and Kelvin Washington react to a monster performance from Saquon Barkley on Sunday Night Football. Following his huge game, Barkley's name has started to gain a lot of traction in MVP discussions. Rob and Kelvin weigh in on the conversation, admitting that while Barkley is incredible, calling him the MVP is being a "prisoner of the moment".

Rob Parker: "Last night was a tremendous performance, but you don't wanna be a prisoner of the moment. Earlier this year, Derrick Henry started out a house on fire... It just takes one bad game and you can quickly fall out of it! Here's the other thing: Lamar [Jackson]'s numbers are ridiculous. He won MVP last year without spectacular numbers, and his numbers this year are better. There were two games this year where Joe Burrow had a total of nine touchdowns and lost both games. Why? Because Lamar outplayed him!... To me, Lamar Jackson is the MVP."
