>Neversink Mountain Fire Extinguished
(Lower Alsace Township, PA) -- After two weeks, the fire on Neversink Mountain is completely out. State officials say the fire is extinguished thanks to the rain in the area this past weekend. Crews had worked since November 9th to get the fire under control. While the recent rainfall was a much needed break from the dry conditions, firefighters say local burn bans are still in effect.
