Thankful for a job... Amazon's robots struggle to keep up …

Amazon has over 750,000 robots working in their warehouses to get orders packed and shipped efficiently to customers, but even the chief technologist at the company – Tye Brady – admits the robots often have a tough time keeping up with human workers. While the robots excel at tasks like "top-picking," where they grab items from the top of a container, they struggle with "targeted picking," which involves finding specific items buried under others. Because of this shortcoming, there will be an ongoing need for human workers, even in these high-tech workplaces.
