A different and more positive outlook on Trump’s second term.

This confirms that it doesn’t just ‘feel like’ a very different and more positive atmosphere this time.... following the Trump win...

The findings of this CBS/You Gov poll confirm that there-really is- a different and more positive outlook on Trump’s second term.

This was a poll of over 22-hundred Americans. So, good sample size.

The same poll shows 6 in 10 voters, 59 percent, say they approve of Trump’s handling of the transition so far.

And this isn’t the only poll showing support for President Trump’s transition choices- thus far.

There’s also an Echelon Insights poll.

That 40 percent might seem kind of high to some of you-but that represents the ‘hard-pan’ base of the democrat party in America. That’s basically every democrat who isn’t willing to give trump the benefit of the doubt- standing in opposition to him.

And so, these are far better numbers than most analysists would have expected-and they do represent evidence that the American people-want- president Trump to get his honeymoon period this time around.

Other interesting findings include Matt Gaetz was a very unpopular pick for a cabinet position-but that has now resolved itself-

And- no surprise here-Donald Trump’s attempt to get his nominees all installed with recess appointments-is not- a popular position.

76 percent- three-quarters of respondents-say they want to see the senate confirmation hearings and have senators decide whether these cabinet members are worthy.

That doesn’t surprise me at all...but it might surprise people who are only living in the ‘Trump bubble where ‘everyone they know’ thinks that Trump should get everything he wants now, because he won.

It doesn’t work that way-and it never has.

oh-

And a third poll out this week shows that people-love- the DOGE idea.

The department of government efficiency lead by Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy is a big hit with the people.  At least the people of Minnesota.

A magazine there that John Hinderaker helps run...says they surveyed Minnesotans on several things....and an amazing 96 percent of respondents....Meaning people across the board, politically.... loved the DOGE idea.

I agree. It would be an incredible feat to downsize and right size government.

Ronald Reagan said there’s nothing quite so permanent as a government job...and nothing lasts longer than a temporary government program.

Another Reagan quote: no government ever voluntarily reduces itself in size. Government programs, once launched, never disappear. A government bureau is the nearest thing to eternal life we'll ever see on this earth!

Exactly. And Musk and Ramaswamy are going to be taking on the massive, entrenched federal bureaucracy, the labor unions, and nearly every democrat on capitol hill.  It is not going to be easy.

But folks, there’s so much fraud and waste -in every part of the budget and in every department-large or small-

That it’s high time we have a serious correction. This goes together with trump’s overall attempt to break the backs of the ‘deep-staters’ who believe government is their never-ending honey pot...and they can spend any amount of we taxpayer’s money.... without consequence.

One recent example comes out of the state department, where Anthony Blinken spent ‘some amount’ of taxpayer money holding group therapy sessions for state department staffers who were having a hard time coping with Donald Trump’s win.

Think about these: federal workers- especially state department workers- are supposed to be agnostic on ‘who’ is temporarily in charge of their agency: democrats or republicans.

‘Who wins’ in presidential or congressional races really shouldn’t be of consequence to most of them...as career bureaucrats....and they certainly shouldn’t be having emotional meltdowns because ‘one guy lost’ or ‘this guy won’.

And Blinken wasn’t the only department head to bring in counselors and/ or have group counseling sessions-for our fed employees! - because Trump won.

I don’t know about you- but to me- any federal worker who is ‘that upset’ about the result of the election should probably be fired and be told to go and do something else.

Using taxpayer money for these therapy sessions so that leftist govt employees could have a good cry on company time.... was a ludicrous story last week when it broke.

The need for therapy sessions raises questions about whether the employees within the state department- or any dept that brought in counselors- will cooperate in carrying out president Trump’s agenda-which is what they are tasked to do over the next four years.

If you are really that broken up about it- go and join Ellen DeGeneres in Britain...or meathead in the mental hospital.

Most of you have heard by now that Rob Reiner is taking this Trump win so badly that he had to check himself into some sort of sanitarium.

Not long after election day, Reiner tweeted:

Do Reiner and DeGeneres even-know? -what sorts of things are going on in England?

The govt there is cracking down big time on free speech. Granny’s and farmers are being charged with thought crimes and sentenced to prison time.

This is occurring as Britain’s large Muslim population is organizing to try to force sharia law-at least in ‘their’ parts of Britain...even as their members sexually assault women and girls and increasingly attack people on the street in knife attacks.

Do these leftists in America who hate this country have any idea what’s going on in the countries they are fleeing to?

Obviously not.

These are all- to me- further signs of genuine mental illness. It’s not just TDS.
