Wow! Joan Bruseo from the Sussex County Department of Social Services told me that Stuff the Bus Weekend this year brought in 5 full busses of food. Along with a record number of Turkeys, hams and frozen lasagnas. We are still waiting for the final weight of all the food donated but so far over 18 tons has been unloaded at the Sussex County Department of Social Services Food Pantry. Which means we have reached donation levels we used to have before the pandemic. So here's what we know so far: This year we received 284 Turkeys, 50 hams and 44 lasagnas plus $4608 cash/gift card donations.
