Omaha Fire Investigators say a north Omaha housefire early Wednesday morning was accidentally caused by careless use of gas operated equipment.
OFD says one person was taken to a hospital from the scene near 42nd and Spaulding Streets, and there are reports the injury is not life-threatening.
No other injuries were reported.
Firefighters pulled up to find smoke and fire coming from the front porch area of the single-family residence, but they quickly put out the fire.
