On This Day In 1970 George Harrison Taught Us 'All Things Must Pass'

Released on this day in 1970, 'All Things Must Pass' is a triple album by George Harrison. It was Harrison's first solo work following the break-up of the Beatles in April that year, and his third solo album overall. It includes the hit singles "My Sweet Lord" and "What Is Life?", as well as songs such as "Isn't It A Pity" and the title track that had been turned down for inclusion on releases by the Beatles.

Co-produced by Phil Spector, the album would go on to be certified six-times Platinum by the RIAA, making it the best-selling album by a solo Beatle. In January 2014, it was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame.
