Jennifer Garner and her three children are the definition of holiday cheer, and they all have a specific role in preparing their annual festive feasts.
The 13 Going on 30 actress sat down with People on Monday (December 2) detailing the very specific way children Violet, 18, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12, (whom she shares with ex-husband Ben Affleck) ready for Thanksgiving dinners.
"I have one kid who specializes in mashed potatoes, that's their specialty, I have one kid who is all about making an apple pie, that's their specialty, and then I have one who goodness only knows what she will make."
The mother-of-three even shared a timeless recipe that she breaks out every year and one her family has come to expect when the holidays roll around.
"I love this recipe. I don't know how it got so entrenched in my family's Thanksgiving menu, but everyone is going to be ready for me to make this 10-grain bread," Garner beamed referring to a delicious dish printed in The Bread Bible by Rose Levy Beranbaum.
Aside from preparing festive meals to share with loved ones, Garner and her children enjoying blasting Christmas music throughout the house to really get into the swing of the season.
"The other night I got home from work, and my son had Christmas music playing full blast through the whole house, and he was wearing an apron and he was making ginger snaps. And it was just like, 'That's what I'm looking for. That is the energy that I want to see brought to our house right now."
The Family Switch standout recently partnered with Kitchen Aid and gifted her beloved Leftover Cranberry Sauce Muffins recipe to Instagram followers, citing lots of sugar and love.
