Free at last, free at last. That's how some UCF fans feel due to the latest news that broke over the weekend. Many reports suggest that head coach Gus Malzahn has resigned with intent to join Mike Norvell's coaching staff at FSU as offensive coordinator next season.
In four seasons at UCF, Gus finished with a record of 28-24, 10-15 over the last two seasons, and 5-13 in Big 12 Conference play. Additionally, UCF has won four games as an underdog opposed to 13 games lost as a favorite during the Gus Malzahn tenure.
It seems like it may have been time for both parties to move on, and Brandon and I discussed it on Monday on In The Zone.
