There's video of a man at an amusement park in Arizona standing up and jumping out of a rollercoaster just before the big drop. His lap bar had released, and he didn't want to go down the drop. Somehow, he was able to make it onto an emergency staircase at the peak of the ride seconds before the cars would take the plunge. Here he is explaining what happened.
