Oasis fans were very excited when news broke that the Gallagher brothers were reuniting for a 2025 tour, but their mom? Not so much.
In a new interview, Noel Gallagher revealed the shocking reaction their mom Peggy gave when she found out about the reunion. He told The Sun that their 81-year-old mother "couldn't give a s**t" about he and Liam resolving their 15-year feud and playing music together again.
“My mum never gave a s**t, never. You know what Irish mums are like?" he confessed. "When we told her we were getting back together, she said, ‘Sure, that will be nice’. That was it.”
Despite her indifference, the siblings are determined to get her out to one of the shows. "We'll try and get her to Dublin," Noel said.
As for the band's behavior? Noel doesn't think it'll be as rowdy as it was during Oasis' heyday. “No, it won’t be as raucous as back in the day, because we’re on the wrong side of 50 now, so we’re too old," he admitted. “We’re too old to give a s**t now, so there won’t be any fallouts, there won’t be any fighting. It’s a lap of honour for the band.”
