A bill proposed to rename a post office after a fallen U.S. Marine from West Michigan has been passed by the Michigan House of Representatives.
The post office, located at 3913 LeLand Ave. NW in Plainfield Township, would be named after Capt. Miguel Nava who was one of four other Marines killed in a helicopter crash outside San Diego back in February. The 28-year-old graduated from Comstock Park High School in 2013 and left behind a wife and young son.
The bill now heads to the Michigan Senate.
