FRESNO, Calif.- Fresno State women's tennis team and head coach Denise Dy announce the 2025 spring schedule. The spring slate consists of 22 contests, nine of which will be home matches.
Fresno State begins the season at Spalding G. Wathen in late January to host Fresno Pacific (Jan. 23) and University of the Pacific (Jan. 25) for the opening week of spring season. Bulldogs first road trip begins with Santa Clara (Jan. 31) for the final match of 2024.
Play continues at Spalding G. Wathen in early February to host Santa Clara (Feb. 2) before two roads trips with a neutral meetings against Washington State (Feb. 8) and will visit Cal Poly (Feb. 9) in San Luis Obispo. For the final non conference match up at home, Fresno State will host Grand Canyon University (Feb. 15).
Fresno State will close the non conference portion of the season on the road. 'Dogs begin their five road matches at St. Mary's College (Feb. 16). The team will travel over 400 miles to Provo, UT to visit BYU (Feb. 22) before returning back home for three matches down south at UCSD (Mar. 7), at CSUN (Mar. 9) and vs North Texas (Mar. 10).
Fresno State will see a 2-2 away/home format to start conference play. Bulldogs begin Mountain West play at Boise State (Mar. 14) followed by Utah State (Mar. 16). Conference home opener starts with Colorado State (Mar. 21) then Wyoming (Mar. 23). Back on the road for another set of matches, Fresno State will visit New Mexico (Mar. 28) and Air Force (Mar. 30).
Play at Spalding G. Wathen wraps up with the final three home matches of the season. Fresno State will host San Diego State (Apr. 4), UNLV (Apr. 6) and lastly Nevada (Apr. 11). Last one of the season, Bulldogs will head north to face San Jose State (Apr. 17)
Fresno State will return to Las Vegas for the 2025 Mountain West Championships at the Darling Tennis Center. The three day tournament will run Wednesday-Saturday (Mar. 23-26).
