In the kind of crossover one might expect out of Hollywood, a man claims that he stumbled upon Sasquatch during a post-skyjacking search for D.B. Cooper. The wonderfully weird account comes from the Rocky Mountain Sasquatch Organization, which recently corresponded with the witness. After returning from an Army tour of Vietnam in the fall of 1972, the man wrote, he was stationed in Washington state. Following the legendary Cooper caper, his unit was tasked with aiding the FBI in their search for the skyjacker, specifically in "the mountains in southern Washington state along the Columbia River."
