Miley Cyrus has released her new single "Beautiful That Way," written with Lykke Li and Andrew Wyatt, for Gia Coppola’s upcoming film "The Last Showgirl," starring Pamela Anderson.
The song dropped right after it was nominated for a Golden Globe for Best Original Song – Motion Picture.
Reflecting on her inspiration, Cyrus shared, “Pamela is deeply embedded into my earliest memories with my mother. We both worshipped Pam and still do.”
She adds, "I thought a lot about what this film means to her not just as an actress but as the special person that she is."
The film, set to release on Friday, tells the story of a showgirl navigating her life after her show ends.
