Today Is National Poinsettia Day…. Where we celebrate the festive little plant that screams: "Deck the Halls, but ALSO don’t let your dog eat me - cuz I’m poisonous!”

So how did this Mexican Flora… become the unofficial poster-child for Christmas decor?…. It all started in 1825, when the US Ambassador to Mexico (Joel Roberts Poinsett) took a trip down south … and during a Wet-T-Shirt contest at Señor Frogs - he stumbled outside, spotted the exotic plant & thought: “Hey, this would look great next to my Christmas tree!”.

So in TRUE American fashion… he smuggled it back through customs, into the United States... named the plant after himself… And, the rest is history!

But Poinsettias are just ONE of the iconic symbols of Christmas… Today, you’ll have to identify MORE… during a special: “Jingle Bells & Old Noels” Edition of PLENTY OF TWENTY.
