There's only one Drake, but even he can appreciate a good ol' fashion doppelganger.
Drizzy recently heard about a look-alike contest Casuals Cakery owner Lillianna Brown hosted in the rapper's hometown over the weekend. In an Instagram DM he sent to the host of the event, Drake said that he wanted to sweeten the pot by offering $10,000 to the winner. Once the contestants learned about the new prize, they went all out. Several men rocked the OVO Sound co-founder's signature cornrows, his now-infamous hair clips, and his thick beard. Some of them looked uncanny to Drizzy thanks to their outfits inspired by The Boy.
"I'm adding 10 bands to the look alike contest," Drake wrote in a DM.
Several guys at the look-alike contest could've easily taken home the grand prize based on their facial features alone. The men who came in second and third place did look a lot like Drake. However, the winner was Makayla Chambers — one of two female contestants who appeared in Drake's pigtails, a drawn-on beard and mustache and an oversized fleece jacket.
"This is all about Drake, this is all about his fans, Brown told the Toronto Star. "This is the community gathering. We're just honoring and loving the Champange Papi and the 6 God!"
"Trust me, I was a fan of Drake since elementary school," she added. "This is a big fan moment."
