Dua Lipa accomplished a lot in 2025, including the release of her third full-length album, Radical Optimism. However, despite Dua's achievements this year, her album was not nominated for a Grammy for the upcoming awards show, and now, she's opening up about the snub in a new interview.

Speaking to Billboard UK, Dua, who is a previous Grammy winner and ten-time career nominee, explained, "I'm so proud of Radical Optimism and where it’s brought me. I love that album and I’m having the time of my life performing it live, and I’ve been able to do things that I thought I could only dream of this year, so I’m really grateful."

Dua added, "Although it would have been nice to be recognized by your industry, especially as a woman, I’m so proud seeing so many incredible female artists nominated at the Grammys this year."

Radical Optimism showcases 11 new songs including hits like "Houdini" and "Training Season."

But, despite not being nominated for a Grammy, Dua still calls 2024 the "best year" of her life, explaining, "I’ve done things that I’ve wanted to do for so long." She added, "There came a point in the year where I was thinking, 'I've got to sit down and write some new dreams and new plans and other things I wanted to do.' I feel like I ticked so many of my boxes this year. It’s amazing."
