A viral TikTok shows a woman standing in the aisle for the majority of her seven-hour flight.
The footage, which was shared by Dr. Richard Duong, whose username is @envisionaries, shows an unidentified blonde woman standing in the aisle and looking at a monitor in front of a person sitting in their seat.
“Lady stood on my flight for the entire seven-hour duration watching her movie,” Duong wrote in the caption.
The clip shows the woman on her feet with the plane's lights turned on and off, though Duong clarified in the comments that she would eventually take her seat when the seat belt sign was turned on.
Tiktok users gave various responses to the viral clip, with many joking at the woman's expense and others empathizing with her, believing she could have been suffering from a medical condition.
“She could have a clotting disorder,” one user wrote. “I have to stand and stretch a lot because of this."
“With massive back issues — totally get it,” another user wrote.
“As someone with a broken tailbone, understood," a commenter wrote.
“I have fibromyalgia and I would have to stand for most of the flight otherwise I’m in agony,” another user wrote.
Fibromyalgia, which causes pain and stiffness throughout the patient's body, can feel worse after sitting for lengthy periods of time, according to Health.com.
