Will Madonna be releasing a new album in 2025?
That seems to be the question on fan's mind after the Material Girl posted a video to Instagram on Monday (December 16) ushering in an era of new music! The intriguing video features a collaborator aside Madonna, working feverishly to bring the world new music, or as she calls it, "medicine for the soul," by next year.
"Working on new music with Stuart Price. these past few months has been medicine for my SOUL. Songwriting and making music is the one area where I don’t need to ask anyone for their permission.. i’m so excited to share it with you. Who wants to hear new music in 2025!"
Fans sounded off in the comment section, resounding their desire for new tracks from the "Like A Virgin" icon remarking, "OMG the Queen is back with the best," and "THIS IS WHAT THE WORLD NEEDS!"
While Madonna confirmed that she would be releasing new music, she didn't mention anything about an entire album. The last album she released was 2019's Madame X featuring tracks like "Come Alive," "Crave," and "I Rise" to name only a few.
The "Vogue" songstress experienced great loss in 2024 with the passing of her brother, Christopher Ciccone, and step mother Joan Ciccone, but was able to get her entire family together over Thanksgiving, including her father, Silvo Ciccone, to revel in a few "medicine for the soul" moments.
