Party City is going out of business.
The party supply store chain is shuttering all of its store after almost 40 years in business.
According to CEO Barry Litwin hr told corporate employees in a meeting that the company is "winding down" operations immediately.
Party City exited bankruptcy earlier this year after closing over 80 locations between 2022 and 2024.
The company had more than 800 locations across the nation.
There are stores currently in Chicopee.
