50 Cent is ready to hit the studio with Eminem to work on an album together.
On Friday, December 27, the OG Shady/Aftermath signee took to Instagram and reacted to DJ Whoo Kid's viral interview, in which Em agreed to make a joint album with Fif. He took a screenshot of the report and posted it to his timeline with his thoughts on the subject. The Queens native also said he's down to record the project after he wraps up his upcoming residency in Las Vegas.
"Looks like I’ll be back in the booth 👀👏👏👏after all ! Just gotta do this residency in Vegas first," he wrote.
During a recent interview with the Detroit rapper and his manager Paul Rosenberg, Whoo Kid asked Eminem if he would make a joint album with 50 Cent. Em doesn't completely dismiss the idea, however, he thinks they would have to sit down and "just do it."
“That would be great,” Eminem replied. “We just gotta stop bulls**tting and just do it. I would never say it’s not possible, what the f**k?!”
The duo has already collaborated on several classic tracks in the past like "Patiently Waiting," "Realest N****z," "Crack a Bottle" and Ed Sheeran's "Remember The Name." They also just joined forces on "Gunz N Smoke" from Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre's Missionary album. Despite all the songs they've made and stages they've shared over the years, they've never teamed up for a full-length collaborative project.
50 Cent has collaborated with a few artists over the past year including Nas, Nicki Minaj, and Eladio Carrion. However, he's been focused on his TV and film career as well as his upcoming Las Vegas residency. The G-Unit founder recently signed a $15 million deal to perform six shows at PH Live inside Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino beginning December 27.
