Brett Eldredge shared the first sneak peek of an unreleased song after teasing a new era that pushes the country star “out of my comfort zone.”
Eldredge confirmed on Friday (December 27) that “Gorgeous” would make its debut on Friday, January 3. He said he “can’t wait for you to hear this song and the music up ahead…it’s unlike anything I’ve ever done, and I think you are gonna love itttt,” he wrote in his Instagram caption.
“I’ve been thinkin of different ways to really shake things up with my life and Music,” the singer-songwriter previously posted on Instagram. “Every time I push myself wayyyy out of my comfort zone I feel the most alive…I have done this personally and now musically with what I am about to hit ya with this year…I feel loved and accepted more than ever and I feel empowered to put out music in unconventional ways that many may not expect but I know you are gonna love…there will be multiple different styles and sounds, taking you around the globe with me on a musical journey from beaches, to mountains to evening strolls under city street lights…this is going to be a lot of fun…here’s to the next chapter, coming verrrry sooooon.”
Eldredge’s latest album is Merry Christmas (Welcome To The Family), his 8-track holiday record that features a new duet with Kelly Clarkson. His last country album was Songs About You in 2022, and a 10th anniversary edition of 2013’s Bring You Back. Eldredge recently caught up with Clarkson on The Kelly Clarkson Show, where he said he has new music arriving “right at the beginning of the year.” Listen to the sneak peek of “Gorgeous” here:
