Provincetown is hosting its annual First Night fireworks display on New Year's Eve.
The display is scheduled to begin at five p.m. on Tuesday, weather permitting.
Town officials may move up the date of the fireworks to Monday if it looks like the weather will not cooperate on Tuesday.
The show will be a low noise display, meaning the loud concussive booms that often accompany the fireworks have been removed.
