Renovations Planned At Martha's Vineyard Airport

Renovations are being planned at Martha's Vineyard Airport.

The airport has unveiled some initial plans for major upgrades, including a permanent structure for the screening of departing passengers.

That process is currently conducted under a tent next to the tarmac.

The extra space of a new terminal building would also be welcomed during the summer, when huge lines can back up through the entire current building.

The estimated cost of the planned renovations is currently around 40-million-dollars.
