Miami’s Priciest Gas Station Sells Fantasy 5 Lottery Winner Worth $139,514

Miami, FL - Miami’s most expensive gas station, located near Miami International Airport, sold a $139,514 winning Fantasy 5 lottery ticket during Friday evening’s drawing.

Lottery officials say the Chevron station at 2545 NW LeJeune Road, notorious for being Miami’s most expensive gas station, has also become the luckiest spot in the city after selling a Fantasy 5 Quick Pick ticket worth $139,514.

This winning ticket matched all five numbers — 4, 7, 11, 31, and 35 — making it the only big winner among Florida’s major lottery games that day.

The winning ticket can be redeemed at a Florida Lottery district office or the main office in Tallahassee, both open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

In Miami-Dade, players can visit the district office in Miami Lakes at 14621 Oak Lane.

While appointments aren’t required, they can be scheduled by contacting 305-364-3080 or emailing MIARC@flalottery.com.

While most Miami stations are currently charging between $2.95 and $3.19 per gallon of regular gas, this Chevron and the neighboring Shell station at 2501 NW LeJeune Road are priced at $4.99 per gallon as of Friday.

For nearly two decades, these gas stations have capitalized on their close proximity to the airport.

Located near Miami International Airport’s rental car facility, these stations cater to rental car drivers in a rush to refuel before returning their vehicles.
