A family is going viral over their Christmas portraits and matching pajamas.

In the now-viral portraits, four of five family members appeared to be taking part in the Christmas tradition of wearing matching pajamas. However, a fifth family member, a five-year-old boy identified as Trü, was pictured wearing different pajamas from the rest of his family.

The dad and stepmother in the pictures reportedly dressed their two children in matching, festive green pajamas, while Trü was wearing a black pajama set.

Taylor, who shares Trü with the father, said she was shocked to see her son in last year's pajamas.

"I sent those from home," Taylor said of the pajamas in a video addressing the viral photos. "They are something to sleep in, not take professional photos in. My son could have [at] least got a fresh new set of pajamas."

"My whole problem with this whole situation is that my son did not match everybody else, and I feel like the pictures were already booked on dad's free weekend," Taylor said in a second video on TikTok. "Dad was already not supposed to have my kid. My kid was never supposed to be there. Therefore, my kid was never part of the plan. I feel like dad should have just left my son at home with me, and all of this would have been avoided."

Taylor said when she asked her son how felt about not matching with the rest of the family, he responded: "Not good."

Several social media users placed blame on the stepmother for allegedly leaving her stepson out of the Christmas tradition. The stepmother, Riya Lee, denied the allegations on social media, saying she "very much didn’t leave him out" of the photo shoot.

Lee said she didn't know Trü was going to be participating in the family portraits until minutes before and claimed the boy's father "couldn't find" any matching pajamas in time.

Taylor said she isn't putting responsibility on her son's stepmother for the incident.

"The blame was never on the girlfriend," she explained. "I never pointed a finger at her, but once my post started getting a lot of views and stuff, that's when she made her post, and she felt like I was attacking her, but I never attacked her. The internet blamed her. Let's just get that straight."

"I've always blamed dad from jump," Taylor added.
