No casualties are reported after a tanker and a tugboat collided near the Luling Bridge on Sunday evening, causing the tug to sink.
The Coast Guard says the tanker was headed upriver when it struck the tugboat near the I-310 bridge over the Mississippi.
All the crew members on board the tugboat were rescued and taken to a nearby hospital to be checked out.
The Coast Guard will evaluate whether the accident made any environmental impacts.
