McFarland Fire and Rescue and the McFarland Police Department responded to an apartment building on Paulson Court at around 10 a.m. after a tenant reported smelling smoke and hearing alarms sounding, according to a press release.

Once on scene, firefighters confirmed the presence of smoke within the apartment of the tenant who reported it.
