Cam Skattebo: "The Game Switched for Me"

Photo: Sam Hodde

Arizona State RB Cam Skattebo joins Dan Patrick on The Dan Patrick Show after a legendary performance in a riveting overtime loss to Texas in the Peach Bowl yesterday. He weighs in on his halfback pass for a touchdown and the controversial non-call for targeting late in the game. And he says they always knew they were still in the game and explains how getting sick on the sideline was apparently just what he needed.

Knew we were always in it, be a better teammate, throwing up changed the game for me, targeting call seemed biased, Philly Special,

Cam Skattebo: “I threw up and I felt like a completely different person. And after that throw up, the game switched for me and how I was playing. It was completely different for me so, it was nice. I looked down, took a deep breath, puked...”

Dan Patrick: “[LAUGHTER]”

Cam: “...took another deep breath and then got back on the field and played my game of football.”
