Dan Patrick Is Tired of the Revisionist History

Dan Patrick reacts to some of the blowout losses in the College Football Playoff and takes aim at his fellow media members who waited until today to proclaim teams like Indiana and SMU shouldn’t have been included in this year’s field of 12 teams. He is tired of so-called experts trying to take credit for predictions after the fact.

Dan Patrick: “I don’t want to hear these analysts, after the fact, tell me somebody shouldn’t be in the playoffs. You know, when Kirk Herbstreit says basically Indiana shouldn’t have been here. But Herbie wasn’t alone; there were a lot of other people who said, ‘Well, they shouldn’t have been here.’ OK. SMU shouldn’t have been here. OK. I’m not blaming SMU or Indiana; they did everything they were supposed to do. And tell me that BEFORE they get blown out, not after!”
