A man is jailed following an early morning traffic stop in Jasper County. Just past 1:00 Thursday morning, Deputy Jason Hawthorne pulled over a vehicle on Highway 96, near Kirbyville. A probable cause search of the vehicle revealed two bags containing 4.5 pound of methamphetamine, with a street value of more than $20,000 was found in the vehicle. The driver, Steven Earle was arrested and transported to the Jasper County Jail.
