President Biden will travel to New Orleans on Monday following the deadly New Year's attack on Bourbon Street
At least 14 people were killed and dozens injured when a truck plowed through a crowd in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
The White House says the president will be joined by First Lady Jill Biden and they will meet with families and community members impacted by the attack.
Authorities have identified the driver of the truck as Shamsud-Din Jabbar, a 42-year-old U.S.-born citizen who served in the Army.
The FBI has said there are no links as of now between the attack in New Orleans and a Cybertruck explosion outside the Trump hotel in Las Vegas on Wednesday.
