A couple of former Louisiana law enforcement officials are impressed with the swift police response to the terror attack on Bourbon Street.
Former Louisiana State Police superintendent Mike Edmonson says video of the incident shows officers on top of the situation and charging into action as civilians ran for their lives.
Retired Lieutenant General Russel Honore, who helped New Orleans make it through Hurricane Katrina, says elevated levels of security will be needed through Mardi Gras in order "to convince people that the city is safe."
