Is there anything more comforting on a chilly winter day than a warm bowl of soup, perhaps enjoyed nestled by a crackling fireplace or cozied up under a blanket in front of the TV with your favorite movie playing on the screen? And with flavors ranging everywhere from classic tomato bisque or herby chicken noodle to hot and sour Tom Yum or cheesy broccoli and cheddar — or anywhere in between — there are endless possibilities to get your soup fix.
According to a list compiled by Yelp, the best soup in all of Arizona can be found at Soup & Sausage Bistro in Phoenix, with the site recommending the chicken soup. One of this Ukrainian eatery's most popular dishes, the soup is loaded with chicken, potato, celery, cauliflower and zucchini. Soup & Sausage Bistro, located at 13240 N. 7th Street, Ste. 4-5, has a 4.7 star rating on Google and nearly 800 reviews. There is a second location Phoenix at 4030 Bell Road 101/102.
Here's what Yelp had to say about determining the best soup spot in every state:
"This is an all-time list of the top spots for soup in each state according to Yelp. We identified businesses in the food and restaurants categories with a large concentration of reviews mentioning 'soup,' then ranked those spots using a number of factors, including the total volume and ratings of reviews mentioning 'soup.' This list looked at businesses in the US."
